Does Anyone Know...

What certifications you need to be a preschool teacher or work in a daycare? I'm pretty sure first aid, and child abuse recognition or something, but what esle? And what is AED? I'm feeling overwhelmed. Any help is much appreciated.

    You need CPR and AED certification. AED is a defibrillator. I think its automatic external defibrillator? Its offered through the Red Cross and other agencies I believe.

    When I worked in a daycare we also needed to take communicable disease class.  We didn't necessarily need to be "certified" (there was no test at the end) but the instructor did sign on of a certificate we had to turn in.
