Prices for cake

Hey girls,

I am getting married October 23 and still have not picked someone to do our cake! I was wondering if anyone could tell me about what they are paying for cakes. We will have approx. 75-100 people. Prices & place where you are getting it from would he helpful. Thanks!

    We got our cake from Gambino's. It was DELICOUS. I don't know how much it was because it was included with our venue package- the Gatehouse handles ordering the cake from Gambino's.

    However, you should certainly look into it! It was so moist and spongy, and the icing was perfect- buttercream, sweet but not TOO sweet.

    We went to Gambino's for our cake, too. For our wedding cake (fed 60, I think -- 3 tiers) and groom's cake (fed 40, I think) it was $350. Both were delicious and looked just like the pictures I provided for inspiration.

    Baum's was pretty comparable to Gambino's. Sweet Impressions was considerably more, around $650. Ambrosia wasn't available for my date, so I have no clue about their pricing.

    Gambinos did my cake as well, it fed about 200 and was around $450 (I think) They were amazing to work with and the cake was delicious and looked exactly how I wanted it to!  I talked to lots of Bakers in the Br area and they were (in my opinion) the most reasonable and one of the best tasting...

    Here are the places I met with...

    Try Couture Cakes by Holly Bratton as well.  I haven't tasted but she has a big clientele.  You can search her group on facebook.  good luck!

    I am getting married October 23, as well!  Holly Bratton is doing my cake! :) She is awesome!  We only looked at Ambrosia before we decided on Holly.  Ambrosia's cake was good, but it was extremely pricey :/
