Purple and Gold wedding

Our colors are a dark plum color and champagne (we wanted an LSU wedding but instead of LSU gold we subbed a metallic gold).... MY problem is I've always wanted a yellow bouquet, but I'm afraid of it clashing with the gold... and I'm afraid of the purples clashing if I do choose to use purple flowers....any ideas of how I could make it work??

Look for white flowers with touches of yellow or purple accents...  Talk to Jake at Jake's on the Avenue in Denham Springs... he's very creative!

I think if you go with just straight yellow flowers then it may clash.  However, if you work in other accent colors (e.g. yellow with orange tips) or some other color to tie it all together then you should be fine.  You should also talk to your florist about filler flowers to help tie everything together.  Another thing to consider is the specific shade of gold you are using as one of your primary wedding colors (bright gold vs. antique gold, etc).
