Alright you creative brides...

I am seriously thinking about this, Are y'all writing your own wedding vows?

    I am halfway writing my own vows. I am going to reconstruct them basically. We are using traditional vows and updating them to fit us and to make them more modern. We will take out and add things. HTH

    One of my brother's friends and his ex-wife wrote their own vows, he thought the changes were quite odd at the time- but she put herself an out in there.
    She replaced the final line of "for as long as we both shall LIVE" with "for as long as we both shall LOVE".
    He was working his butt off in shift work, and came home and wanted to kick back and chill, she started going out with "friends", then decided she wanted to pursue the lesbian lifestyle, and cited those vows as her way out.
     The guy was crushed, but let that also be a lesson to all of us, keep your commitment and DATE YOUR HUSBAND, and get some Tylenol/Advil for those headaches...

    WOW, that was a huge red flag that he should have seen!  But then again, they were getting married, and I guess he was in LOVE.
