Hi, ok so we are not having alcohol at our wedding. With this said is it necessary to get champagne flutes?

What would you serve in them?  Sparkling cider?  Are you still planning to do a toast?  Otherwise I would just skip it.

Oooh sparkling cider sounds nice, I think we are indifferent to a toast its not really necessary but we do want to let the best man and maid of honour speak if they like

No, I wouldn't bother unless you really want them and are toasting with sparkling cider or something.

They don't necessarily need champagne flutes if you want them to speak if they like, they can use whatever they're drinking.
