Wedding Cake Plateaus

Does anyone know of anywhere I can rent a tasteful wedding cake plateau.  I've looked at two websites and both have nothing but tacky, over the top plateaus.  My cake is simple (textured buttercream icing with a few flowers) so I'd like a plateau that is simple but elegant and doesn't take the spotlight away from my cake.

We're renting ours from the venue for a very small charge, so check into that. Also ask your baker or your florist. It would be easiest that way for not having to retrieve it after the wedding. I don't know of anywhere online.

I rented mine from the venue as well. The bakery also offered to rent one.

This may seem like a silly question, but what exactly is the wedding cake plateau? Is this the same thing as a cake stand?

I remember having a hard time finding one in nola that wasnt $100 so i went with this company. I know it may be a pain getting it from BR but just wanted to throw it out there. Happy planning!
