NOLA Night Clubs

Hey ladies! Since I'm not from the area can any recommend fun dancing type night clubs? I know there are a ton of bands and jazz musicians but I'm looking for more of a dj party atmosphere...does that exsist?

    Are you looking in the French Quarter? I recommend the Gold Mine. It's pretty much a dive bar but the music is so much fun!

    Masquerade club in Harrahs, jax bar at Jackson brewery is the new hip place to hang out, I also like the gold mine, BBC on bourbon, Grits uptown, f&ms, Republic, LePhare--upper scale place, not much riffraff here.
