    I think we definitely submitted our application sooner than that.  It's just that no one responded to our requests for approval until the week of.

    I'm at the two week mark and I am scrambling for WP gifts and doing the last minute things like seating charts, escort cards (you may not have this if you are having a traditional NOLA reception), and finalizing with vendors which I couldn't do at the one month mark due to the hurricane. :/  Today I am finalizing the song list for the DJ, photo list for the photographer, and ordering secondline hankies now that I have my final headcount.  Anything you can do now, do it!  Don't proscrastinate because there are a million little things that pop up everyday to add to your list and friends & family will start contacting you asking what about this and what about that.  Can you tell I'm stressed today? :)
