Dress Shops with Dresses around $500

I am looking for a wedding dress around $500. I live in Metairie, but New Orleans and surrounding areas are an option. I know David's Bridal and Pearl's Place are both options. I am just checking if any of y'all ladies can point me in the right direction. I know I can buy online/used/ebay/etc. but I really would rather go in a store and get a dress. Thanks!!

I think town and country and Bridal Boutique by MaeMae does sample sales. Don't quote me on the latter. Also I am still selling a second dress that  i purchased that I was going to wear for my reception but i decided not to get it altered and it still has the tags on it. You can make an offer on it.

the back has couple missing loops but it should be an easy fix. I purchased it at a sample same at the bridal boutique in covington.

I bought mine from Nordstroms when I was in another city, and had it shipped to my house here.  I actually ordered two sizes and returned the one that was too big.  They have free shipping and free returns, and quite a few dresses in that price range.  But the downside is there isn't a Nordstrom's here... I'd go to a boutique and see what styles and brands look good on you first and then maybe shop around for a good deal online or wait for a sample sale.  Is $500 your budget for just the dress or does it include alterations and accessories?

Thanks for the suggestions.  I didn't even know Nordstrom sold wedding dresses.  You can obviously tell I know little to nothing about that departments store.  I will definitely keep them in mind.

I think you have a lot of options in that price range so don't stress too much, you'll find the right one!

If you aren't opposed to driving to Baton Rouge there is Off the Rack that has sample sales and Bridal Boutique has clearance dresses too....I got my dress for $300 at Bustle in Baton Rouge off Highland drive. Good luck! Also look online at http://www.bridepower.com/default.aspx

they had a show on tv at one time called I Found the Dress...they are located up North but they have sales too...Just some suggestions!
