Save the dates

Does anyone have any ideas on a creative, New Orleansy save the date? Most of our guests are from out of town so it's basically a destination wedding for everyone else, so we want the save the date to be something memorable about New Orleans. Not just a card that says "destination New Orleans' but something fun and unique. Any ideas? Thanks!

check out two sprouts website.  They are a local invitation company that has some great new orleans save the dates and they are reasonably priced.

We designed our own and had them printed, since I couldn't seem to find anything I really liked- it was pretty easy! You can see ours in my bio, in the "paper" section. Sorry in advance for how sad and pitiful my bio is, I never really had the time to work on it further!

We used magnetstreet.com for our save the dates. We used the fleur de lis templates in a magnet holder with the hotel information on the back of it. People loved them.

I created mine and used postcards.com to do the printing.  They arrive at the end of this week.

I got mine from Scriptura on Magazine St.  They have a lot of Nola styles.  Ours is a trumpet and the "notes" coming out of it say- laissez les bon temps rouler, and rouler, and rouler.

I used Jessica at totally magnets, ours were very personal. We used a photo of New Orleans from our photographer  had taken when she had visited as the background . Then she added a photo of us. She didn't charge a setup fee and they were .72 cents each. This is her website.

I used this vendor on etsy.com to make New Orleans vintage looking postcards.  They look great and have tons of pictures to choose from.
