    State of Relationship: informally engaged. (Been together 7 years, but due to a semi-recent loss of my father, have put everything off)
    How Long You've Been Together: 7 years and coutnting :)
    How You Met: We had a class together in high school, and lost contact. Re-aquainted over internet and the rest they say is history.
    Wedding Date (if you're engaged/married): Sometime December 2013
    Real Babies: none
    Fur Babies: one cat
    Loves: scrapbooking, crafting. Currently remodeling a house of our own.
    Hates: Drama, people who are fake or out to make themselves feel better by putting other people down.
    Pet Peeves: I am a neat freak
    Hobbies/Activities:scrapbooking, hiking, camping, house remodeling, spending times with family and friends
    Favorite Thing About Your SO: He's everything I'm not. 
    Least Favorite Thing About Your SO: He's pretty messy, but clean if that makes sense?

    How You Came to Be On TK: Googled a budget sheet for a budget wedding, and TK was the first sponsored and helpful cite.

    Favorite book/author: I'd have to say To Kill a Mockingbird
    Tell Us Something Interesting About Yourself: I grew up in a city back in Washington State. About 3 years ago now, my bf and I decided to pick up and move to Wyoming. We absolutely love it here, and we had no support system out here, it was the scariest thing I've ever done, absolutely crazy. But it turned out to be one of the best things I could have ever done.

    How You Met: Through a basset hound rescue.

    Real Babies: Ohhhh no! lol. Love them, but not for a while. 

    Fur Babies: Maya, my maine coon cat.

    How You Came to Be On TK: I already knew about the magazine and site and swore the first second we got engaged I would join. lol. Well, it took me like a week to join. 

    How I like my potatoes: White, mashed. 

    Favorite book/author: Not really a favorite just yet, but just started reading Nora Roberts. She's good.

    Tell Us Something Interesting About Yourself: My dream car would be a 1970 Cuda convertible in B5 Blue with custom pinstriping to my late great uncle on the quarter panel :)

    The cell phone thing, gah I wish I had thought bout that one. I remember having to have mine on everywhere no matter what, I was managing a hotel, so I was on call the entire season, and a month before and after. I'm so glad that isn't my life anymore. :)

    Tell Us Something Interesting About Yourself: I am running the Chicago Marathon in October.  I am not a runner at all.  In the past 8 weeks I have gone from not being able to run 1 mile to running 5 miles.  I'm running with Team World Vision to raise money to bring clean water to children in Africa.

    How I like my potatoes: I... like potatoes? All potatoes. Seriously, smashed, baked, scalloped, fried... you name it, I probably like it. It depends on the mood.
    Favorite book/author: Oh goodness, that's a toughy. I'd say my three favorite series are the Parasol Protectorate by Gail Carriger, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin, and Kushiel's Legacy by Jacqueline Carey.
    Tell Us Something Interesting About Yourself: I'm probably more comfortable running around wearing a corset than I am in normal clothes. I can lace myself into a back lacing corset, and currently own 5 corsets- 4 underbust and 1 overbust, and will hopefully be adding more to the collection soon.

    How You Came to Be On TK: all my friends were telling me to join as soon as we got engaged, but i just wanted to soak it all in for about a month before i joined. I just wanted to enjoy the love and support we were getting before i started gathering ideas for planning. 

    How I like my potatoes: mashed with butter and garlic, or baked with butter, sour cream and cheese! but love all potatoes overall

    Favorite book/author: not sure, i like a few here and there, but i dont have a favorite. (im a very indecisive person lol)
