in New York-Hudson Valley
who left the entire ceremony up to us so now i have to pick readings and get everything ready. he stressed of having everything prepared before the rehearsal so that everything can flow smoothly.. with that said.. 

are you ladies having the men escort the ladies down the aisle at the beginning of the ceremony. we have an uneven bunch... so we're trying to figure everything out. let me know

    No the ladies and men will go down the aisle alone and come back up together (it symbolizes the whole marriage thing). We're uneven as well. Best man is walking alone both times and to make it even some the girls are walking back together.

    i had the girls walk alone
    but my brother and brother inlaw walked our parents in before getting into line.

    The girls entered alone, and came back out with the guys. We had one extra girl, so two girls walked with the last groomsmen.

    i was just in a wedding where we were uneven, the girls went in alone and then on the way out we walked with the guys and two of us girls, had double men,  its no biggie to be uneven.

    Ditto on the in alone out together thing. In my friends video the guys look soooo umcomfortable walking in with us BMs - totally ruined it. Going out there is nothing to be nervous for and you get to walk faster!

    We are also unever #'s, 1 guy will get 2 girls.

    I am so uneven...11 girls to 6 guys.......

    We are doing- guys up at the alter waiting for the girls to walk in alone.  they will walk back out together  2bm-1gm, 1bm-1gm, 2bm-1gm.... repeat.....

    The GM will be up with my FI and my BM will walk in alone.

    However, I was at my brothers wedding this weekend and the had the best man walk in with my brother, then the bridesmaids (two of them) walked in with the other groomsmen, one on each side.  Then the MOH walked in by herself.

    It all depends on what you would like I guess.

    Our guys walked down the aisle to the altar first.  Two GMs stayed back to walk the mom's down.  Thhen the whole music started and all the BMS went out single file.  The flower girls walked together as did the ring bearers. 
    On the way back, the GMS went with the BMs...we had one odd GM (the groom's son) and i really don't know what he did LOL
