how early should people start arriving for a sample wedidng gown sale...1hr before opening, 2hr before, 3hr before, ealrier?? I've never gone to one before

I popped into Priscilla's one day sale back in October and I arrived right at 8am, and it wasnt to to crazy... found my dress and was out the door by 8:40am.
