Hotel Blocks near the Faniuel Hall area?

Hello -

We are getting married October 2011 at the State Room. I am trying to find a reasonably priced hotel to reserve some rooms. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm not sure of the name, but there's also a Hilton on Broad Street

We had a small room block at the Millennium hotel because we got married there. They wanted us to sign a contract to have a large room blocks (with financial consequences if we didn't fill the block). I ended up calling the Marriott Long Wharf to get a bigger room block without financial risk. They were a pleasure to work with.

We are using Marriott Long Wharf. So far it has been great. Our block is 20 rooms at $239 a night. We were also quoted rooms at Marriott Courtyard Tremont for $159 but our wedding is in May and told that due to graduation it was going to be hard to reserve a block. Hope this helps.

The Bulfinch Hotel.

Rooms are only $99. and while its not in Fanueil Hall (it's near the Garden) It's not too far away.
Rooms are small, but nice for a couple
