Hi everyone, my BMs are wearing truffle brown dresses, and my niece is wearing a light yellow sash (called canary, at David's Bridal) on her dress, therefore, I would like to have the groomsmen wear the canary colored vests/tie that match the sash b/c I don't think the brown truffle color would look good with a black tux....brown and black just don't go well together....what does everyone else think, canary colored or truffle colored vests/tie/etc?

guess this didn't do what I wanted..basically can build a tux and choose the color, then click on w/out jacket to see what each of them looks like w/the black pants

i think brown and black go together very well...but i think the canary will look better

I agree with you... I don't particularly like brown and black. Go with yellow!

I just went to MW today to put down a deposit, I was actually worried about navy blue vest with the black tux. The woman that I worked with said that not only does my navy blue work, but also mentioned that Truffle Brown works, and has been a popular conbination. So it is ultimately up to you, but I just wanted to give you that little bit of information.

Have you considered chocolate brown tuxedos? They're really nice looking. In that case, I'd do chocolate tux and ivory/llinen white vests/ties.
