When is a good time to book someone for hair/makeup?  My wedding is May 18, 2013.  Also, wedding is at the Hilton in Dedham.  Who do you recommend I use?  Would like my bp to have it done as well, as long as it isn't too much for them.  TIA

I booked my hair and makeup in August of 2009 for my June 2010 wedding and even then my vendor told me there were a bunch of girls in line for my date. It's probably better to get that done sooner rather than later because a lot of the good ones get booked early.

It depends who you plan on going with.  If you are going with a local spa/salon you probably only need to book about 3 or 4 months out.  If you are going with a traveling salon, probably at least 7 or 8 months out (they book fast).

I used Blushing Brides for both hair and airbrush makeup.  They come to you and they did a great job!

Agree with pp.  We had traveling hair and makeup and we booked them about 8-9 months in advance.  Our wedding was on a Friday night and some people we emailed said they were already booked.
