Place card help

We're doing our place cards/escort cards.... They are printed on blank white tent cards and all we are putting on them are the person's name in a nice font, their table name, and in the corner their food choice. It looks really boring, but do people really care about these things? I tried putting a peacock feather picture underneath the text, but it was not helping. I also tried adding a rhinestone to the blank card, but fi didn't like the look of it. Any ideas?

Oooh, ggmae, when I was asking fiance to make them, the first one you linked was what I was thinking. I'm going to have to show him those. We may still end up going simple, but these are great to see.

I love the peacock colors. If I hadn't gotten so caught up in my colors coordinating with my venue, I would have done those. And then my venue fell through and it didn't matter anyway! Haha.

Oh, don't worry ggmae. My colors don't really go with my venue. I had a mini freak out about that about a year out. Fi and everyone told me to just say "eff it" because people know that I rented A room, and those are the colors that we wanted. A little bit of red colored curtains was not going to stop me from using teal.
