Judicial Waiver NYC?

I am aware that there is a 24 hour waiting period from the time you get the marriage license until you can get married in New York. Fiance and I will be traveling there on a day trip and I would really like to get married while there but won't be able to wait the 24 hrs. I saw on the website that you can get a judicial waiver to get married sooner has anyone done this? How is the process?
