Using Sparklers after the Ceremony?

I am getting married November 10th (mass ceremony starts at 3:30) and I have been thinking about what to give guests for after the ceremony when we leave the church as husband and wife. The usual choice would be bubbles but I know that in November sunset is around 4:45 pm.

Do you think it would be dark enough for sparklers?  I'm pretty sure bubbles wouldn't be visible.

P.S. Church has already nixed confetti (messy) and bird seed (attracts birds, obviously, and their excrement).

Edited for clarification.

Sparklers would be very pretty but double check with the church because they are illegal in New York :(

Damn. I completely forgot about sparklers being illegal. Thanks for the reminder...off to find an alternative.

They are illegal, yes, but that doesn't mean you can't run over to connecticut and buy some and bring them back. Not saying anyone I know has ever done this *cough cough*
