Terrace on the Park In Flushing New York...Anyone have reviews?

We are planning to go visit Terrace on the Park in Flushing NY as a possible location for our wedding. Has anyone had a wedding here or have been a guest at a wedding here? Just wanted to see what people thought of it.

    I was a guest there.  In all honesty, the food and service were horrendous.  The staff was nasty and the rooms needed a bit more TLC.

    i was there like 10 years ago for my prom lol  but i think/hope things have changed byt  then. 

    the only thing i really remember was the street was so tiny our limo had a hard time  driving up to it

    Since I live and work  in QUeens, I must go to a work function there every 6  months or so.

    The pros:
    Amazing views of NYC
    Affordable
    Great Cocktail hours

    The Cons:
    Bland catering hall food
    Several events occurring at the same time
    Outdated decor (very Greco-Roman with columns and fake art)

    I've never had a problem with the staff and find them very accomodating. Also free parking is included.
