I met the man I'm marrying through my best friend. They had actually dated about a year before we met. When he and I decided (five and a half years after meeting) that we wanted to be together, she was not very supportive. I had always assumed that she would be my maid of honor, but now that I'm marrying her ex, I'm not so sure how that will work. Not only will it be awkward from the standpoint of their past together, but I'm also not sure if I want someone standing next to me who doesn't want us getting married. I don't want to ruin our friendship, but I don't know what to do!
