So, my fiance and I have 10 nieces and nephews between us - we do not want children at the rehearsal dinner because it is not a restaurant for children so we are hiring a few sitters to host all the children at our home with pizza, ice cream and fun kid activities.
His brother is in the wedding party and is a new dad and he and his wife are refusing to leave their daughter (6 months) with the sitter (we have a sitter specifically for the newborn) - my fiance is upset because he wants his brother and wife to attend the rehearsal dinner, which I do too but I don't see how we could have 1 child there without inviting the other 9 - and there is still the issue that our rehearsal dinner is not at a restaurant for children.
Any thoughts?
