Curious what you ladies think of this:
My father got invited to the "bachelor party" for the son of a family friend. It's two days before the wedding, dinner at someone's home and the invitation is also calling it a "stock the bar" party, as in help stock groom's bar.
To me that means it's a shower and you should buy bottles of nice liquor for B&G, right? But then the invite goes on to list all the places they are registered. Dad says all bar-type stuff is crazy expensive, like $300 wine decanters etc. Another important detail - groom lives across the country, so if anyone does buy him nice liquor, how on earth will he get it home? He can't fly with it. Are they planning to pack it and ship it?
I just think this is a series of WTFs. What do you make of it?
