NWR: Banana-Nutella cupcakes

Hi girls!

  Last week I was asking for suggestions on what to bake this weekend, and I ended up doing the banana-nutella cupcakes.  They turned out a-maz-ing!  Really better than I would have imagined for an untried from-scratch recipe.  I think I might make the nutella mousse as its own dessert sometime as well, it was hard to keep FI from eating it before it had firmed up enough to use as icing!

Thanks for the help deciding!  The recipe is finally up in my blog if anyone wants to try it!

I'm thinking triple ginger cookies next?  I have to get them done before it warms up completely! Its supposed to be 64 here next weekend!!

OMG, you're gonna kill me with all this baking talk! Now I want a cupcake so damn bad!

This makes me very sad since I am allergic to hazelnuts I can eat two heaping handfulls of the nuts before I get a reaction, but one teaspoon of Nutella and I get hives for days. Maybe chocolate almond bark?

You have my pity!  I would be either very sad or very sick if I was allergic to nutella.  Are peanuts ok? Maybe you could try this (click)?

Every other kind of nut is ok, and I only get small patches of hives, but they last for several days. The worst part is that for some reason they only appear in unfortunate places, like my chest or upper thighs, so its incredibly uncomfortable until it goes away. I'll have to experiment with some things to see what will work. I really dislike chocolate frosting, unless its flavored with some sort of nut, so we'll see. They look delicious!

Try the dark chocolate dreams as a sub, its not quite the same but it still should be pretty tasty!

The only thing preventing me from baking right now is I don't have cake flour. Otherwise I'd be all over those cupcakes. Dear Lord those look amazing!

I read the recipe in your blog. Got up and search my cabinet for the jar of nutella I thought I had with the intention of eating it with a spoon. Now I'm pouting because I ate all of my Nutella out of the jar a few days ago, according to FI.
