The FI and I do not want to invite children to our wedding/reception because we are the ones paying for everything and we're trying to keep the cost down. The few people that know about this have completely bashed us for not wanting kids there. What do we do? We are trying to do everything to keep the cost down but still have a nice wedding. I personally wouldn't take my kids to a wedding, but other people are offended by this. Already there are 50 kids on the guest list. Since it's inappropriate to ask for money, what do you suggest we do?
