DIY Crinolin

Hi ladies, I have not posted here too much during my wedding planning process but thought I may get some helpful hints on my crinolin. I would like to dye my crinolin the color I am using in my wedding (aqua). Has anyone done this before or seen it done? I am interested in learning how. TIA

Ok I checked out her instructions and they seem simple enough. But this is my issue, what do you do if your washer is a front load and not a top load? Is it safe to open the washer per the instructions without water spilling all over the place?

You could do it in your bathtub and agitate it by hand.  My mom and I dyed clothes all the time when I was a kid and we always used the tub

No - it would have to be a top load washer. I'd suggest finding a friend with a top load that would let you borrow it for the process (it really doesn't leave any mess - or at least mine didn't), or do like pp said, and do it in the bathtub. Good luck!
