Favorite workout songs?

Por Favor?

(I already stole Brie's off her blog from the last big race she ran.)

But I'll be updating the ol' ipod later, and need some good upbeat workout tunes!

Thanks in advance!

  • Tik Tok by Ke$ha...so trashy but sooooo good.
Another great one is "Blame It" by Jamie Foxx.

Oooh, and my favorite thing to do (and I know this in really cheesy) is to throw the theme from Rocky or "Eye of the Tiger" somewhere in the middle of the mix (like, 25 min in) so when I hit the halfway point and I want to die, I have something that will get me charged up again.

  • For upbeat workout stuff, I love Rodrigo y Gabriela, Motown, and hip hop (Ludacris and Missy come to mind, as pp said).

Rodrigo y Gabriela are amazing, and I like to run to their music. In case you haven't heard them before: http://tinyurl.com/yan3w44

  • Another tip if you are doing a long run, walk, ride, etc.  Consider a book on iPod.  I bought a fun book (The Second Assistant) off iTunes and only let myself listen when I was being active.  It gave me incentive to get on any cardio machine.

    Here's a sample list though:
    Fighter Christina Aguilera
    Sandstorm Darude
Hungry Like The Wolf Duran Duran
    Lose Yourself Eminem
    Wicked Ice Cube
    Lady Marmalade Houseboyz featuring Vivian
    If Janet Jackson
    SexyBack Justin Timberlake featuring Timbaland
Mama Said Knock You Out LL Cool J
    How Many Licks? Lil' Kim
    Music Madonna
Lose Control (Featuring Ciara & Fat Man Scoop) Missy Elliot featuring Ciara & Fat Man Scoop
    Hot in Herre Nelly
    Get The Party Started Pink
I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man Prince
It Takes Two Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock
    Gimme The Light Sean Paul
Yeah! Usher Feat. Lil' Jon & Ludacris
Love Will Never Do (Without You) Janet Jackson
