LOVE them....I have very similar ones in Gray. Believe it or not, they're pretty comfortable cause they have a little platform. Mine are made by Madden Girl.

Chelsea I have those same Steve Madden shoes in gray also. They look so similar and they are so comfortable. I just wore them last weekend for my bachelorette party. I believe they come in red also, but they are not satin.

The Madden ones are about 4 inches, but they are actually comfortable. I wore them all night and danced in them and my feet were fine. They have them in red on the stevemadden website

what about a wedge, you can do the height, but keep the support.  I wedge it all the time

 i really feel like there is a strong correlation between heel height and shoe sexiness.  It's a biased foot world!  I bought a pair of guess marciano plum suede high fricken heels at Nordstroms last week on a whim. Needless to say, I got home and tried them on again, my feet were not so happy. The thrill of the Nordstrom shoe shop made me lose my senses. Hi!  When I was asking about blue shoes, someone on this board (I apologize for not giving due credit...but I don't remember at this second who she was) suggested I get dyables that I love and can walk comfortably in, and then blue-ify them!  Something to think about.

you can get the heel cut down if you want.  My mom bought shoes from Shoe Chic in Englewood where i got my wedding shoes and they actually cut the heel down for her.  Not sure if they would do it for outside shoes, but it might not hurt to give them a call.
