Historic indoor place to take pictures?

Hi all!

My fiance and I will be getting married in December at a church in Holmdel, with our reception in Florham Park. Our phorographger recomended taking our pictures in some garden, but we're not really garden or outdoorsy people. Also, since the sun sets early that time of year, I think anything outdoor would be a waste because it'll be dark by the time we take pictures. Can anyone reccomend a really nice place that would allow us to take pictures inside? My fiance and I love history, and I would love to have the pictures taken at Wilson Hall at Monmouth University, but it's so out of the way. Does anyone know of anything similar somewhere inbetween Holmdel and Florham Park?
Thanks!

  • I say go to Monmouth. It is gorgeous and not too out of the way. If you have enough time, I would go there. I would've loved to get pics taken there but our ceremony and reception were way north of there.

  • Why not the mansion at FDU?  It's right in Florham Park.  Not sure what's involved (maybe even a fee?) to get in for photos, though.

Just looked up the pictures from that mansion at FDU (my sister goes there), and it looks perfect! Thank you so much!
