Where can I get a bustier?

Does anybody have a recommendation on where I can find a bustier to wear under my dress? When I was trying on dresses, I think I needed a size 40DD or something along those lines, so I need to find a place with a good selection of fuller figure ones.. and of course I'd like to save as much money as possible, since I will only wear it one time....somewhere in the North/Central Jersey area (I don't want to order online because I need to try them on and make sure it fits and it is comfortable).
TIA!

The Dain Shoppe in Morristown or Bardot's in Millburn will help find you the right fit, but I don't think they will be cheap.

I went to the Dain Shoppe and bought a fabulous Goddess Bustier for $100.  I later found the same exact one at JCPenny for $50.

I agree with ccandela- I went to this  place  http://www.lingeriebysusan.com/ in Edison and spent $$ and nothing was returnable and found better at JcPenney and Macys. I ended up with the bra from Victorias Secret and the spandex shorts type thing from the Edison store. It was hard because I couldnt return the items and you really cant tell until you wear them with the fitted dress. I recommend going to the big stores that you can return at.

That's funny, I was going to ask about Lingerie by Susan, because a friend had recommended that store, and I wasn't sure about it... so I guess I should start looking at JcPenney and Macy's and then maybe try there if I can't find anything.. in the past when shopping for regular bras, I've always had a hard time finding the size I need in the style I want in department stores.. the last time I looked in Macy's, I found a bra I liked, and they only had two hanging there...

You know what might be good? Lord & Taylor.  I had a bra emergency the other day and while I just kind of grabbed off the rack and ran -- I did notice that they had a HUGE selection.  And L&T is the type of old school store where I'm sure the salesladies would do a measurement for you.

I went to the one in Westfield.

I went to the Daine Shoppe in Morristown this weekend. I found the exact corset bra top that I needed for my dress. It was only 42$. I had a great experience...Linda was our sales girl. She fit me perfectly and her theatrical performance kept us laughing the whole time. I would go back any time I need something specific again.

There are two 40DD items in the for sale thread.  They say never worn.

I went to Wizard of Bras on Kinderkamack Road in River Edge to get a strapless bustier a few months back, and was very happy with the experience and the selection of sizes.  I wouldn't say it was cheap, but having an experienced saleswoman help me find the right garment was worth it.
