So this isn't really wedding related, but I've found such a great community of people here on the knot, that I just wanted to throw this out there. We took a trip to NC this past weekend to look for land to build on. We found a spot in Sandy Ridge in Stokes County that we really like and may put an offer in on after we get some questions answered.
My biggest concern about relocating from CT is not knowing anyone but FI! And while I love him to death, I'm going to need to make new friends lol. Sandy Ridge has the small town feel we're looking for, and it's so weird that everything is so spread out in NC vs CT. So just wondering if any knotties were in the area and had any input on things to do, hobbies, what's fun in the area. I'm coming from a city where the grocery store is 2 minutes away so this will be a big adjustment!
