Yes it is Monday morning, but I am looking forward to the weekend. I have friday-monday off, so I am wondering; what are you doing for the holiday weekend?

    Keana I am joining in on your pouting! DH is working but will be home early(5pmish)...I hope... We will prob just stay home and BBQ. Huumm...or maybe see if my parents want to come up...

    Can I pout even more since our holiday is Thursday and even though that makes a nice long weekend, we have no similar celebrations to you guys, we lived in the U.S. for a while and I am so jealous. Canada Day = Le Lame, and just adds to my desire to be an American citizen.

    Anyone want a couple of guests to come hang out and watch fireworks with, we'll bring food and beverages?

    We're heading up to the San Juan Islands.  I've never really gone out of town before for the 4th but our friends invited us to join them for the weekend so we snatched up the opportunity.  Looking forward to a little break from life.

    Sloan yes....you can always pout with us! So in Canada you get the extra time off? Hummm....Well it depends on where in the US you are if you can do fireworks....I am going to have to check to see if we can this year? Plus all of the good stuff is illegal! lol....Maybe I can see if one of the parks or schools has anything good this year...

    We get July 1st every year, it's just that because it falls on a Thursday this year, everyone is pretty much taking the Friday off as well.

    @Stink..don't be, unless the weather improves dramatically it could mean cold and rain the entire weekend.  It's usually pretty safe to say that summer doesn't start around here until after the 4th of July.

    My sister is hosting a bbq at her house, so I get to spend the day running through the sprinkler with my baby nephew.  I think we are going to head downtown later that night and watch fireworks.  They set them off from a barge on one of the rivers, so there are plenty of places to get a good view.

    Sloane - You can come hang out with me anytime!

    UGHH!! What is up with the spastic weather all over? It was 100 during the day Saturday and then by the time it was dark I was freezing at the outdoor wedding reception!??!!

    I wish I could say ours is spastic.  June is nicknamed Junuary up here.  Rain is pretty typical.

    we will be on a plane!! we are heading back to Las Vegas tomorrow from London, to attend my Brother-In-Law's wedding and then going back on the 4th (arriving the 5th--my birthday). We have no reason to complain, because for my 26th bday, we are hopping right back onto another plane and headed to the San Fermin Festival! That's right ladies, we will be running with the bulls!!! EEEEK! So excited to cross this off my "bucket list"!

    My mom's birthday is July 2nd...so I will be down with her! It should be super fun...My family does it up big on the coast for the 4th and mom loves to light fireworks... so that plus BBQ should be a lot of fun ^_^
