Escort Chart needed? 40ppl

Hey LV board,

Q: Do i really need an escort chart? I will already have in each plate a Godiva Box Favor and a Tag attached w/ Guests names to indicate which seat.

6 tables of about 7 seats...

Will this be confusing if i d not have an Escort Table Chart? I really am limited with space!

I didn't do one for 25 people and didn't think I needed to do one, but my coordinator acted like it was the end of the unviverse!  I don't think it would have been an issue but she made something up on the fly for us.

I have about the same amount of guests, and I'm planning to allow people to sit wherever they like at their assigned table.  I think that should eliminate the need for a chart!

ETA: I plan to have the escort cards sitting at one table when they walk in.

The only "assigned" seating was for me, husband, MOH and her husband, Best Man and his girlfriend. Otherwise people sat where they pleased, and it ended up being how we would have sat them. There were 34 people and 36 seats (6 rounds, each seats 6). Easy peasy.

Your group is just one table bigger than mine, I think you will survive without an escort chart/table or whatever. The room cant be that big, guests can skim the tables and find their names.

We just did table assignments too; makes it a lot easier just finding your table and sitting where you like.

I think that sounds great, and definitely no need for a chart.  We had 84 guests and still just had the escort cards set out on a table, alphabetically that had the guest's name, table number and entree choice. 

I think I mentioned it on a previous post but again, I love that you're using the playing cards!
