Where to have our wedding reception/dinner?! Help!

Hello!

I'm finding it all a bit over whelming trying to find a suitable venue to hold our wedding dinner.

As we are all coming from overseas our wedding party will only be approx 10-14 people. Ideally it would be great to have a private dinning space but we are also open to sitting in the normal restaurant dining area also. As we have a small party I'm finding it hard to find a private room that we don’t look 'lost' in!

Has anyone got any recommendations for great restaurant with nice decor, nice outlook (poss the strip?) We aren't too fussed on the food style, were open to anything. Like to try something new!

Check out Mix at Mandalay; they have a private room that sits up to 15 or so I believe.  Overlooks the strip from 64 stories up.

Other options would be the Eiffel Tower restaurant at Paris, Top of the World at Stratosphere, House of Blues Foundation Room Balcony at Mandalay.

I inquired with Mon Ami Gabi - and they have reasonable pricing as well as smaller rooms...

Then of course, the other option I am considering is in-suite, I am having 12 ppl altogether tops!

Hi, here's what I have on small rooms. I looked at many more but many could accommodate about 25 so a little on the big side. I also fancied one of the Wolfgang Puck restaurants but they all require a minimum which I couldn't justify, can't remember how much but around $2,500+. There are a few small private rooms at the Aria - http://www.arialasvegas.com/sites/default/files/documents/10029-19%20ARIA%20Dining%20Sales%20Kit%202013%20-%20Complete%20Kit%20v00.pdf I liked the look of Jean George's (seats 12)and Sirio (seats 18), both have a $1500 minimum Bouchon's minimum is $1,200, table of 14 (I would say 12 would look best) Maggianos $1,000 minimum, seats 12 - 16 Scarpetta at Cosmo, seats 12, 2 hours, $2000 minimum Sinatra at Wynn has a room for up to 16, minimum is $2,000 B&B ristorante seats 11 and minimum is 1,600 All minimums are excluding the 28.1% tax and service fee. Canaletto had no minimum, set menus range from approx $40-85.

I will have 11 guests and to be honest found it incredibly hard to get everything I wanted (I haven't managed it)! At the end i was torn between Bouchon and Canaletto. It really came down to those two because of price, saying that if there had been somewhere that ticked all the boxes but was a little out of my price range I might have chosen it but I didn't find anywhere that had everything. I was mainly considering price, look of room, number of hours, food, number of courses and outlook/atmosphere. That for me is the major plus with Canaletto, it has views over 'St Marks square' in the Venetian and with such small numbers I thought a bit of background noise/ something to look at would be nice.
