We are in the process of looking for an officiant for our wedding. We are hoping to do a pretty short ceremony at our reception place. The catch is it's in Boulevard Brewery's Muelbach Suite. A couple of the officiants I talked to were a little hesitant of our choice of venue, and I don't want that. I'm hoping to find someone laid back and relaxed that we can have a good report with. I don't want someone who's "unsure" of our choices.
Boulevard is perfect for us (we love good beer) and is casual yet beautiful which is my idea! I just want someone who can appreciate that the space is perfect for us.
Do any of you, my fellow knotties have any experience with great officiants in the KC area? I would appreciate any and all advice concerning your experiences, thanks!
(And the reason we'ren not using a church is because our religions conflict a little, and it would take a lot of converting for him in to mine and I don't want to make him do that. Thanks!)
