Need help finding venue in Concord/Salisbury area.

Hello ladies,

I've been on the knot for a while, but don't visit you ladies often. I was wondering if anyone has had a wedding between Cabarrus, Rowan or even Davidson counties. I'm looking for a venue less then $500 due to SEVERE budget cut. So ANY advice you can help me with would be a God send!

Thank you!

What type of venue, how many people does it need to accommodate?

Hopefully one that will allow you to bring in your own caterer and guest list of less then 55. We really don't expect too much, but want to have a nice cermony and reception.

Our reception is being held at the Old Cabarrus Bank Building in Kannapolis, right in Cannon Village.  Total was 600.00 which include white linens, tables, chairs, big screen tv (which we are utilizing to play our wedding since we are having a destination wedding).  You can bring your own caterers, bartenders, etc.  You can also rent it for 500.00 if you don't need the linens.  The best part is that you get the keys on Friday and have until Monday morning to bring them. It will give you plenty of time to decorate without having to do it all in one day.  Here are some pics of it not all decorated up. Everything you see in included.

I adore those places but they are more then double my budget. The station is $1000 with a $300 dep, and the Heritage Room was a similar cost.

Have you tried city parks they usually let you rent shelters or buildings for pretty cheap.  Also there are community centers that you can rent for pretty cheap.  We live in Locust NC and they rent the community bldg for like  10 an hr for kids parties but would maybe give you a better rate for a weekend. Hope this helps.

Hey you should try for a destination wedding in the NC Mountains.

There is a wedding show this weekend that will be showcasing venues, florist, cakes, photographers, and more. I would be able to give you a complimentary ticket if you are able to make it up here.

Check out our website www.weddingshowofthencmtns.com for more information.

If you can make it up this weekend please call me at 828-295-4301 ext: 821.

I promise this is well worth it!

    Thanks,

    Bailey Gronbeck

  • Hey!
I'm getting married this coming December (soon!) and was wondering if you could also send me the contact information for the Old Cabarrus Bank Building. That would be a huge help. Thanks so much!!
