It happened last year around this time too, I think its just cause so many of the brides are married now, and the brides for next year arent full swing into the crazy parts of planning yet!

I feel like I got a really early jump on everything thanks in part to the recommendations on here. My wedding isn't until June but we're pretty much done booking everything, got the church, venue, church musicians, DJ, photgrapher, hair/makeup team, limo, shuttle bus, gown, florist, picked the invites, blocked rooms at the hotel, and even already had our venue tasting and cake tasting. We even have pre-cana this weekend. Really just have to focus on the details of everything as we get closer. Also I noticed that the most recommended vendors book very early so I was focused on getting the people I wanted booked as early as possible.

I’m like luckywing. Getting married in late June and noticed most the vendors we’re pretty booked this summer, so I went into planning overdrive. I still have a few more to book; transportation and musicians for the ceremony (would appreciate any recommendations for ceremony music). Otherwise, we are down to the details!

Hi Jillian I booked Erin Kennedy and Kim Richards from "Artworx" for my hair/makeup. They'll be doing the bridesmaids hair/makeup too as well as my mom and my fiance's mom. I liked that they travel, so they will be coming to us at the hotel to help us get ready. They had very positive reviews on here. Website is: http://www.artworxhairdesign.com/

We are getting married in a church so I can't help with any info on an officiator, sorry! Best of luck!

We are using Katie Lynch Koglin for our ceremony music. She is a vocalist/harpist. She plays and sings beautifully. We came across her at a wedding expo at New Seabury. Her website is www.capecodharpist.com
HTH!

My question is why are so many people that have gotten married still on here giving advice. Things change a lot in a couple of years and I feel that maybe they are not up to date on some of the newer vendors, venues, etc going on. I have seen advice on hair & make-up from a hair salon that is not even around any more. I think that is why it is so stale and dead zone bound.
