Pergola for beach ceremony

Hi Girls:

Has anyone here used a pergola for a wedding ceremony on the beach?  I am looking to either purchase one or possibly build one.  I want it to be simple but sturdy.  Thanks!

    we were going to try to build one out of bamboo - but it was looking like it was going to cost over $200 - and then we needed to figure out how to secure it and transport it - way too big of a headache.  We're now renting a larger arch from our florist instead - the hassle wasn't worth the look I was trying to get.

    Maybe I'll look into renting.  It does seem like a huge expense and pain in the butt to set up.  Plus, I want to make sure it doesnt blow away.  Haha!
