I'm a week late posting this but here I am. My name is Ashley but everyone calls me "Ash" and my fiance is James King. James popped the question on March 20th in the middle of Founder's Garden on the North side of the University of Georgia campus. On my finger is now a perfect 1/3 k diamond that has 30 years of history behind it; it is the same stone and ring that his father, Rev. James King Jr, used to propose to his mother, Dr. Kathleen King. She told me she was thrilled that she had a chance to pass it down to a girl like me.
We've set the date for March 31st 2012, mostly likely to happen in Athens, GA or in one of the surrounding counties. Our wedding colors are green, gold and brown.
