looking for DJ

Hi girls - helping a friend with a wedding in lansing area. she's thinking of doing ipod wedding, i'm thinking thats not a good idea so i'm looking for some recommended lansing DJ's & the approx cost. her wedding is sept 2010, just trying to get some ideas & prices for her. TIA!

TTC since Sept 2009
Cycle#9-Natural BFP 7/9/2010 ~ m/c 7/31/2010 ~ 8/31/10 beta 0.
Nov/Dec 2011, started seeing RE. HSG-all clear! SA is good! DX = unexplained IF.
Cycle#25-50mg clomid, IUI#1 = BFP 12/24/11 ~ m/c 1/5/12 ~ 2/21/12 beta level finally 0.
Cycle#28- 100mg clomid + Ovidrel + IUI#2 = BFN
Cycle#29- Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI#3 = BFP 5/8/12 ~ betas dropped 5/17/12 ~ Cytotec(fail) D&C (fail) & then a methotrexate shot to get things going ~ 6/28/12 Beta FINALLY 0.
RPL tests reveal MTHFR mutation(1copy)-adding Folgard & BA and moving forward.
Cycle#32-Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI#4 = BFP!
Beta#1 8/21/12: 11, Beta#2 8/23: 71, Beta#3 8/25:174
9/4-seen sac/yolk, 9/7-9/12 hospitalized for a ruptured cyst causing massive internal bleeding.
9/11-seen HB!! 9/18- no HB, 9/21/12-D&C. Fetal tissue testing revealed a healthy boy. Now getting more tests to try to figure out this mystery :(

    I would recommend Crescendo Entertainment in Lansing.  They are new as a business, but Sam Courtney has been DJing for years and is fabulous.As a sidenote, iPod weddings do work nicely as long as the couple really plans out their music.  I had a close friend do that for her destination wedding and I don't think anyone missed having a live band or dj.

    do you guys has prices for these dj's?? i do agree that an ipod wedding can be done very nicely, in the right environment. she's having a fairly large wedding (200 people) at a country club/golf course that has a huge dance floor. i just think she can't "predict" what type of mood the crowd will be in that night. to me the music/dancing just seems to set the mood & can make or break a reception.

    I would definately recommend Matt with W.E.D. I hired him after seeing him at another friend's wedding and he's been great. I'm really looking forward to working with him more closely in the next few weeks and having him at our wedding. The prices are great for the service and everything you get!

    Definitely check out Matt at W.E.D.  He had the best price & package I found and I don't have any complaints! Matt & Lynn are a great team!

    I believe W.E.D's pricing is $600-$700 for unlimited hours. That includes the dance foor lighting, mic, speakers, etc. Some of the best prices in the Lansing area I have found.
