Ceremony Music for Outside Wedding

Hi,
I cannot fathom paying someone $300 for a half hour of live music! I am interested in even just having 1 musician for our ceremony! So frustrating...

Can you recommend your ceremony musicians? TIA;)

    Have you checked with the MSU School of Music?  They have a "gigline" that gives you contact info for student muscians.  I haven't checked, but they may be cheaper.

    Jake Reichbart played at our outdoor wedding.  He is a guitarist from Ann Arbor.  He was $350 but we had him play for 2 hours.  He played as guests were coming in, during the ceremony, and then during our cocktail hour before the reception.

    Try posting an ad on a social networking site like Facebook, or MySpace. List your reqirements and then audition applicants. We found a strings duo for our outdoor ceremony at only $100 for the hour.

    Go to: www.upcevents.com  - United Productions.  They do live music, DJs, and other events services.  They are very reasonable and affordable
