Thought it would be a good idea to get an early start on this. Can anyone recommend a good and reasonably priced place for dance lessons? We don't want an super choreographed number, but we need some help in prep our first dance :) TIA!

    I have friends that took ballroom dancing lessons at Platinum Dance Academy in Okemos and really liked them.  Check with local dance schools to see if they offer ballroom dance lessons (since you are in Howell).  THe community education department through the school or Parks & Recreation departments also offer classes.  They sometimes have ones specifically for those wanting to learn to dance for a wedding.

    We were able to google instruction on some simple dances and practice them in private.It probably would have been easier to learn with a teacher but with the time you have before your wedding just a half hour a night you will be surprised h=how far you get after 2 weeks.
