too far to drive?

I live in Greenwood an this is where I am having my reception, only problem is I picked a popular day to have my wedding and every place I can think to have the ceremony had been booked. I had to look outside the area and found a place that is roughly 30 minutes from the reception hall. Is this too far to drive for the guests? I need some opinions that are not my mothers...thanks

    i personally think its to far... is there anywhere you could do it outside?

    Mine is about that far, then again I also have a few hours between the ceremony & the reception. More because we had no choice than anything else. I think it's personal preference, you're not going to please everyone. It also depends on what time the ceremony/reception are.

    As long as you have enough time in between it shouldn't be too much of an issue.  We had gone to a wedding where the reception hall was 45-50 min away from the ceremony.  Pain in the butt but really understood because it was a finance thing for the bride a groom.
