evansville wedding.

OMG.... i am so overwhelmed! I still need a photographer, a cake, decorations, food and who knows what else. I am trying to do this all by myself on a very tight budget. Any suggestions on how to save on these items?

As far as your cake is there anyone in your family that can do that. That's how I am saving on my cake I am having my Aunt make it for me and she does a really good job.

I'm getting married in New Harmony, and I am on a budget as well... so I completely understand your worries!  When is your wedding?  Have you picked a venue?  For pictures we're going with Mellisa Copeland, but we also checked out Steadfast Media out of Eville... both are very artsy and good!  As for food we're wanting to go with Biaggis (our big expense!), but I know there are plenty other caterers that you can get for cheaper!  As for cake check out evansville cake lady... she's pretty cheap... we're doing cupcakes, and that cuts the price by .75 a person... which adds up!  As for dj, we're using DJ Matt Kelly... he's a dj and he's video-taping the wedding for us all for $700... so we don't have to hire a separate dj/videographer...

Hope this helps!  Ps, whens your wedding date?!

Oh, one more thing... check samsclub.com for flowers... you can get fresh flowers in bulk for cheap!  we're doing our own bouquets this way... and check out the dollar tree online where you can order candles, holders, etc for cheap as well!

The easist way to cut your budget is to cut your guest list.  I did my whole wedding for under $1000.  It can be done.
