Undergarments again!

This may be a stupid question. I ordered my dress online and the fit is decent except for the bust will need to be taken in. I do need to get fitted for a bra of some sort. Do I really need to take my wedding dress with me from store to store or is there an easier alternative?

    Buy from a store with a good return policy and try bras on with dress at home, I wouldn't go store to store with your dress some fitting rooms are dirty. Try on your dress right before you go shopping so it's fresh in your mind how high up the back and neckline come.

    Do you happen to have a picture of your dress? Maybe if we see that we can recommend what kind of bra to get.

    I used a regular strapless bra with no issues. I would maybe buy a few options and take them with you to the fitting. Then choose which one looks best and return the others.

    Thank you for the advice. I don't know how to post pictures, but the dress actually has straps wider than a tank top but not quite what you'd call sleeveless. I could wear a bra with straps except for it goes low in the back. I think I'll put it on and lightly outline it on my skin with a pen and go shopping. Unfortunately I live in a small town and it's about 50 min to the closest city with a foundation shop or Victoria Secret, which I've heard suggested before for bras. Not an easy return! Thanks everyone for your help.
