That the ladies on some of the other boards are really mean! I've been lurking on a couple of different boards on here and I couldn't believe how snarky some of these ladies are! I've been spoiled by the maine board cuz everyone is nice even if they disagree.

It takes some getting used to...but bluntness and honest advice isn't always bad.  And on the 'national' boards you get the good and the bad.  While some can be harsh if you're sensitive, they also give great advice and have tons of fabulous ideas.

I'm on the June 2010 board, and the ladies there are pretty nice, but they definitely give their honest advice, which is helpful as long as you don't take anything personally!

I posted a couple messages on Customs & Traditions because my fiance and I are doing a handfasting instead of a unity candle. And although I did get alot of useful advice I got ALOT of responses that were very condescending.
