We're planning a mid-September 2012 wedding and when it comes to fashion, flowers and centerpieces, I'm clueless. My MOH/sister lives out of state and I don't really have any close girlfriends to lend me a hand. We're also under a very strict budget. Does anyone have any suggestions on flowers that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg and are available in New England in mid-September? When my sister told me she spend $150 just on her bride's bouquet, I almost fell out of my chair. I thought of maybe doing sunflowers but I don't know how available they are. I'm hoping once I decide on a flower I can start picking colors from there. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be greatful.
