Too soon to look for a dress?

My fiance and I are getting married Sept. 2012, we have the details of what we want worked out already so is it too soon to start looking for a dress? I've got the extra time and I'm starting to get eager :P

    I already got mine too.  When I was at the shop, my consultant said she sold a dress to someone getting married in 2013, so don't feel bad.
