I figured I'd introduce myself. I've been active on my local board for about 9 months now, but now that this board is finally getting some action, I decided to jump on in.
My date is 9/29/12. FI and I picked my parents' anniversary as our date. Well, I picked it, but he said he liked the idea. I like the idea of honoring my parents' marriage, and I've always wanted a fall wedding. So it just fit.
We got engaged in November, and we're slowly booking things. We're taking 2 or 3 months in between each major vendor because FI and I are so busy that it's hard to find time to think wedding. Also, it's so far away that it's hard to convince myself to be in wedding mode enough to actually research vendors.
So far we have date, venue (both ceremony and reception), caterer.
Next we're looking for photographer.
