    We legally married on November 22, 2010, but our wedding with friends and family is July 9, 2011.

    8/6/11!!

    We have been engaged since June 2010 and while having more time was helpful it also increased the amount of time I obsessed over every little detail.  This week it is cake toppers that aren't ridiculous or at least look human.  I think we are going for flowers even though I wanted something to keep.

    Mine is also 8/6/2011 so we're date twins!

    We've been engaged since August 2009.  We decided on a long engagement mainly for the sake of finishing school, but also for the sake of deciding on a time when my mom, siblings, and best friends could make it to town (there's so much going on this year for just about everyone in my close circle).  

    The extra time only meant we ended up procrastinating on planning.  We just recently got the venues booked, and I'm putting in my dress order this coming week.  But I will say that since we've actually started making real plans, it's now feeling more real to me.  It's a good feeling, but nervewracking at the same time.


    Congrats date twin!  August 6th seems just around the corner I'm not sure how you are handling getting everything together.   Good luck getting everything done.  Let me know if I can be of any help.  I thought I was just throwing a great party until I bought my dress then it hit me that I was actually getting married.  The dress just makes it all real.

    I'm getting married in 2013 as well... it's so far away! :( The wedding date is March 9, 2013. We're waiting until after I graduate with my degree, since I graduate Fall 2012.
